File Menu
The File menu contains:
About HTML.edit
Displays the About box showing copyright information.
Credits
Displays the Credits help section.
New
Creates a new, blank document window. The shortcut for this command is Command-N.
Import
Imports a selected text file into the current document window. The shortcut for this command is Command-I. Note that you can also drag-and-drop TEXT files onto an already running copy of HTML.edit to import them automatically.
Export
Exports the concatenation of the Header, Body and Footer sections of the current document window to a text file. The shortcut for this command is Command-S. The Export As command performs the same function, but allows you to change the document location and/or name.
Rename
Renames the current document. This does not affect the HTML document title.
Change Path
Changes the target location for the exported file. This command does not actually export the document.
Clear
Clears the contents of the Header, Body and Footer fields in the current document.
Delete
Deletes the current document.
Print Text
Uses the HyperCard Report generator to print the current document to the default printer. The shortcut for this command is Command-P. The report style can be set from the Editor Preferences card to US Letter, US Legal or A4 Letter.
Go To
Sends you to a specified card. Choosing the "Document…" item re-indexes the editor (if necessary) and displays an index list from which you can select a document to view. The shortcut for this command is Command-Ø.
